The next MACMILLAN HOPE COURSE will run weekly at the Centre from Tuesday 6th June 2017 until Tuesday 11th July. Each session will be from 1 to 3:30pm.

The course is made up of six consecutive weekly sessions each lasting two and a half hours from 1 to 3:30pm. The final session will be on Tuesday 11th July.

Anyone who has had a diagnosis of cancer or is a carer of someone who has had a diagnosis is welcome to attend the HOPE programme.

We have a dietician visiting one of the sessions to give advice to the participants.

Along with the Expert Patients Programme and Macmillan Take Control workshop, this self-management programme will help you to develop confidence in the daily management of your condition or in supporting those for whom you care and you will meet others who have shared similar experiences. All the courses cover serious issues but there is also lots of laughter at the appropriate times!
