PROTEIN – how much, what and when!

Venetia Mitchell @peach__health kindly returned to run the second in a series of four nutritional talks. This time she focused on protein. She gave us practical advice on how much protein to each, which proteins are good for us and how to boost our meals, especially breakfast to support our modern and often stressful lives. We learnt that a well balanced meal with a healthy source of protein, carbohydrates, fat and fibre in it will support our adrenal glands, much more supportive way to start the day than a high carbohydrate cereal.

Venetia talked about “Life changing bread” – full of seeds and nuts that have been soaked – recipe can be found online and in books such as by @doctors_kitchen . She also recommended the work of @drchatterjee – his site, socials, TV programme and podcast are full of lifestyle guidance.
We are thrilled that once again we filled the room and so many people stayed afterwards to ask questions and to book further sessions with Venetia. She offers a free 20 minute call to do an initial exploratory session – contact her via @peach__health or via their website https://peach.health/
HUGE thanks once again to Venetia for her support of our charity and for sharing her knowledge with us all.
