TAKE CONTROL WORKSHOPS

On the 17th and 24th February 2026 our next Macmillan Take Control @macmillancancer workshop will commence lead by Janet Hickman. Janet runs all our Macmillan sessions, and other vital workshops at the centre, she has vast experience working with people affected by cancer.

This short course provides tools and strategies that enhance and maintain health and wellbeing. It is a shorter version of the 6-week Hope programme and focuses on symptoms after a cancer diagnosis, such as fatigue, stress, diet, exercise, sleep and fear of recurrence.

A dietitian, Victoria Carter, from Addenbrookes @actcharity hospital will also visit the course to give a talk about cancer and diet.
