Support the Cambridge Cancer Help Centre

At Cambridge Cancer Help Centre we receive no public funding and rely entirely on donations to carry on our work of providing practical and emotional support to those who come to the Centre.

We are immensely grateful to all our supporters, both individuals and organisations. Your generous gifts of time and money make it possible for us to help many people, often over long periods. Our thanks to you all.

As one of our members said:

I arrived at CCHC, anxious and fearful, to be welcomed with kindness and wonderful healing. The Centre became my haven and still is.”

If you would like to make a financial donation, please visit our donations page.

The Centre is run by a Centre Management Team including a full-time Centre Manager and Deputy Manager supported by a team of volunteers.

If you are an experienced counsellor or therapist and would be willing to volunteer your services at the Centre, we would be very interested to hear from you. Please contact our Management Team if you would like to discuss this further.

We are always looking for volunteers to join our Meet & Greet and Tea Bar teams or to help with events, projects and fundraisers. Again please speak to our Centre Management Team if you’re interested.

Since we rely entirely on donations to enable us to continue to provide the services we offer, fundraising is always an important, ongoing challenge.

And whether the funds come from the sale of donated items, from gifts, from legacies, from personal fundraising activities, from sponsorship of major events organised on our behalf or from organisations who have adopted us as their “charity of the year”, we are and remain hugely grateful for your generosity and support. Be assured that every pound raised makes a difference.

If you would like to help us raise funds for the work of the Centre, please contact our Management team or give us a call on 01223 840105.

Thank you!
