Zoom for Non Zoomers – if you are baffled by Zoom and how to use it,  Adrian, one of our Trustee Advisers, will talk you though the basic steps to help build your confidence and open up a whole new world! Macmillan Cancer Hope Course. For People Affected by Cancer.

Get support and share experiences at a free six-week course. All sessions will be delivered virtually via an online meeting forum, from the safety of your own home. Find new ways to regain your confidence and manage stress and emotional difficulties. Meet, share, learn and get more out of life with the HOPE (Help Overcome Problems Effectively) course.

Guided Imagery, Mindfulness and Relaxation – Learning and incorporating these techniques into your day can help relieve stress, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain and improve sleep.

Sessions will be held online weekly on Tuesdays,  10.30 – 11.30 am (virtually) and 1.30pm – 2.30pm (in the Centre)

Self-help Massage On-Line – for yourself or to share with others in your household

A half hour session, alternate weeks with Claire Mackenzie, CCHC therapist, learning simple massage and acupressure techniques to relieve stresses and strains.  Every other Thursday.  Times may vary according to Claire’s availability – please check with Claire when booking. Talking Together – Would you like an opportunity to chat to other members? Feedback from recent courses we have held, has often been that the time to chat part of the session was really valued – having an opportunity to share with others experiences and tips or just to offload to others who understand. We have therefore planned  “Talking Together” sessions.
Sessions will be facilitated by Janet but led by you. Some sessions Azra or Lorna may join. Sessions will be held on Mondays at 2pm.
