Cambridge Cancer Help Centre

Fundraising and donations

As a self-funding charity we rely on donations from the public and subscriptions from our members. Occasionally we hold tombolas or raffles, but a steady source of income is from the sale of donated goods at the centre. This is organised by one of our Trustees who has recently retired from a career in retail, and so is able to bring a wealth of experience to the task of sorting, valuing, pricing and displaying donated goods for sale.

Information for potential donors

The Cambridge Cancer Help Centre is a charity founded in 1986 by Marilyn Barnes to support people who have, or have had, cancer or other serious illnesses, and their carers, families and friends. It relies entirely upon donations to continue this valuable work.
