• Have you, a relative or a friend got cancer?

  • Would you like to know what you can do to help yourself to cope with cancer?

  • Would you like to talk to someone who understands how you feel?

Our Support Group is normally open from 10am to 1pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (except in August) and from 5.30pm to 8pm on the first Thursday evening of every month (except January and August).
Just come along, no appointment needed.

Healing and reflexology will usually be available. However it is advisable to book an appointment in advance to avoid disappointment, although sessions may be available on the day if you just drop in. We look forward to meeting you.

Please call in to have an informal chat, to browse through our books and tapes, or to meet someone who has experienced cancer and can offer support and information.

Different Strokes, a support group for young stroke victims, meets at the Centre on Tuesday afternoons. Visitors can receive complementary therapies and enjoy social activities.

A support group for people with the bone marrow cancer myeloma meets at the Centre on the first Wednesday of each month at 2.30pm. All myeloma patients and their family or carers are welcome to attend. For more information please contact the Centre (see below) or Anne Crawford on anne.crawford@ntlworld.com
